Maui, It's Been Fun!

Our final full day on Maui. It was a great 2.5 weeks, even though we had our share of overcast and rain. Even so, Ally is still leaving with a very nice tan. Had our last pool/tanning session this morning, under a rather hot Maui sun.

Then it was off to Kihei to pick up some last minute gifts. Note to anyone visiting Maui: Tutu's Pantry in the Kihei Kalama Village shopping center has the best Maui-made jams, sauces and rubs.

We had to be back at the condo by 5pm for the Bridgeport Education (WTF?) Holiday Bowl, featuring our own UW Huskies (Woof!). All for nothing, though, as the game on before the Holiday Bowl went two OTs...so the game started without us being able to watch. We dialed up the radio broadcast on the internet and heckled Tennessee and UNC to get their game over.

Finally we got the UW telecast, and settled in to enjoy the game with our dinner. Ally considers herself an honorary Husky when it comes to football, since Pepperdine doesn't have a football team.

Great game...great effort by the Huskies. Great way to end our vacation.
