Since we got in so late, we didn't stop for any groceries last night. So we headed out this morning for some breakfast and a grocery run to Safeway. Seemed like we couldn't work our way out of the produce section. We also had to look for Jorge's favorite panettone, which Safeway typically has a ton of. Not today. We hunted all over the bakery section, none to be found. We were giving up, when suddenly Jorge said "Wait!" and he took off to a bakery table where he found two panettones tucked on the bottom shelf of a bakery table. I thought the boxes looked a little faded, but Jorge said the panettone was "quite juicy" when he opened it later.
One of today's tasks was to clean the carpet at the condo, so we rented a cleaner at the store and Jorge decided to tackle that while I made a Costco run. Before you think I got off easy, I had to battle the atrocious traffic in Kahului. So call it equal. The furniture had to be moved into the hallway and onto the deck while the carpet dried...so that didn't leave us a lot of room to maneuver.
Jorge spent much of the day trying to install a wireless network in the condo. Lots of frustration, but finally success.
Ally has one more final on Thursday, and then flies out on Friday morning to join us. She called today and said "please tell me it's hot in Maui" and I could answer "yes".
